"You mean, the followers of the Most Beautiful God are smarter than the followers of the devil?" Banso wondered.
"Why, yes, it's so obvious. If you are smart enough, you won't follow the devil whose aim is to bring you to eternal damnation with him, would you?" “No, I wouldn't... because I am very smart," Banso said laughing.
. "Anyway, how did you know about all these things? You speak of the Most Beautiful God more beautifully than what I had heard or read so far. What kind of 'other being' are you if you are not a dark spirit?”
“I am a descendant of the angel who was one of the two chief aides of the archangel standing at the gates of Eden with a flaming sword and a disc of the sun. My forefather had seen the beatific vision. He had gazed upon the Most Beautiful and savored His beauty and brightness, His glory, and His bliss. He had known how blissful it is to see the Most Beautiful, to be in His presence, and to relish on His gaze. There is nothing in this world which can ever match the beauty and the splendor of the Most Beautiful and the happiness that the worthy enjoy in seeing Him and being in His presence.”
“You are lying again,” Banso sneered. “How could you come from an angel? Angels don’t harm people, unlike you who had harmed me. You are an 'other being,' a dark spirit whose origin is the devil. You are a liar, a deceiver, and a destroyer just like the devil.”
“I may not be the classic biblical angel, but neither am I a minion of the classic biblical devil whom you know. I came from the union of an angel and a daughter of a man. That makes me a half human and half angel.”
“A hybrid?”
“Sort of.”
