The Special Kids of Sharon are real puppy dogs who are next door neighbors and live on a very quiet street called Sharon. All three "Kids"(dogs) needless to say are our own Special Kids, very much loved and the inspiration for the books.
All of the illustrations in my books are created by me, using the actual pictures of the kids and surounding are
painted sometimes, sometimes real. I never tire of writing, painting, doing illustrations of animals, but the special kids are my favorite. Especially my "Abbey", who died from hemolyic anemia before the books were published. She is deeply missed but never forgotten. Her spirit is always with us. Abbey gave joy to whomever she met but especially her mom. She will always live in my heart and mind. The Books are dedicated to her.
You will find a truly amazing story
in the "Abbey and Jakey" which is a book about my two cocker spaniels and how Jakey came into my life, because it was meant to be. We always feel that Abbey had something to do with it.

The Monster Book is a tale about
the Kids, who thought
they were going to spend a lazy hot summer day hanging around Abbeys' pool.
Until Willie was called home and when he did return to the pool, all excitied to tell Abbey and Lillie that, "There is a Monster in his house."
Abbey and Lillie doubt it but Willie was so convinced that Abbey tells him, "Well lets fgo over to your house and find this Monster.
Is there a Monster??
