I love that the author used real experiences of a child moving to the Australian Outback to communicate that change is ok even though scary at times, and that it can also be a lot of fun! To be able to give my kids that hopeful message AND to learn some things about this really unique place in the world is a treasure. I’m a fan. I also really love that part of the text is questions for the child to encourage them to actively take part in storytime.

This book grabbed my kids' attention from the front cover right to the back with the little facts. Every single page gave them wide curious eyes and exciting pictures to look at. My 3yo daughter straight away asked if we could read it again. Love having access to books with good, wholesome content. The book is not too short and not too long and would be great for any age, I myself enjoyed it.
