It's the time when the mangoes fall Overripe and forsaken Like the fruit of a pregnant womb Having nowhere to go The juicy nectar of troubles Thickly drips down on my heart In the grievances of the season I won't die anymore It's the time when my load turns sweet Eaten up and resentless When the heat slowly and viscously dies Leaving burnt houses' rubbish behind (Wooden structure turned firescar But today it's a new life) It's the time when the sea turns tangy Ready to carry the leaving When sea and soul are in honeymoon And dream is lying with dream It's the time when the stranded freight gives way And a path to the living Shadow fought shadow and both fell in the war But it was taking and giving It's the time when the sailing ships Break away from their courses When the sea sets her jewels free And seagull's ride on wind's arm It's a time to sing and rejoin the silence In corals' smiling hearts When every minute tastes of tomorrow And the eye's horizon is wide A time when yesterday is free of regrets And tomorrow's haven is open When the future is free of fear For what happened must be It's the time when my heart smiles and sings And I do not know why
