There were times, and this was definitely one of them, when Carolyn Matthews wished her husband would go to counseling on a regular basis. She was not sure if he realized it, or even acknowledged it for that matter, but this was not the first time that he had woken her with his screams. By her count, there were five times, including today, that John had woken her with his screams of terror; only five nights out of the almost twelve hundred that they had spent together. It was almost not even worth thinking about. But Carolyn did think about it. She thought about it because of when those five nights had taken place. John's sleeping screams had shattered each of their anniversaries. Three anniversaries. Three middle of the night screams of sheer terror. This morning had been the first time that it had happened at any other time. Of course, that only accounted for four of the five. The first time, and the worst until this morning, had been on their honeymoon. But to the best of her knowledge, John was unaware that he had awoken her four other times in their married years with a dying scream on his lips, his body covered in sweat and tears rolling down his cheek onto her shoulder, on days that were celebrations of happiness.

A very scary read
John and Carolyn are a married couple very much in love. They have a baby on the way and, by all rights, should be celebrating their happiness.
John, however, has things from his past that have been haunting his nightmares. Things from his past that he has repressed. Soon, these things will haunt his and Carolyn's every waking moment until there is an end.
A very scary read. E-publishing has given authors with enormous talent the ability to get their stuff out there. Eric is one of the recent many whose genre fiction has startled me with its intensity and range. Repression is a magnificent book and deserves the five stars that I hereby give it. *****

I couldn't put this book down!
This horror novel kept me up all night. I just had to know what happened next! We all repress things at some point in our life, but John Matthews has us all beat! We know eventually we have to pay for our crimes, but what if it wasn't our fault? Everyone close to John Matthews is dying and he must remember the past to discover why. As John learns the truth, two worlds combine as one. The world we know, and the mysterious world of the supernatural. I wish I could say more, but I wouldn't dare give away any of this novel. You'll just have to discover John Matthews' secrets on your own.
I couldn't put this book down! It's packed full of suspense and horror! Koontz and King beware! Mr. Weule skillfully takes us to John's past, then easily back to the present. Get your {copy} and turn off the lights. Make sure it's not a work night, because you won't be able to put this {book} down.
