Still Hope
In this nation of religious freedom, the author says, there are still myriads of bungled dreams, unsung champions, and fighters for a real democracy ... In one strong poem she calls America "an angry country wrapped in bright blankets of eqotism and righteousness..."
Dedicated to those who worry about "the depreciation of their personal freedom," yet pointing out the myriad blessings we enjoy "...streaking the night with silvery signals of hope..." This is powerful poetry.
