Excerpt
"Alright the meeting will come to order," Mrs. Blackbird said as she flapped her wings to signal that Buddy Fairy was ready to get down to business.
"Well it is time to tell you all why I have asked you here. Two nights from tonight is the first day of summer, and I want us to go on a camping trip together. But I want to camp at the edge of the giant meadow of flowers, in the Haunted Glen," Buddy Fairy told his friends as he sat like a king on the cork stool Meg Grey Squirrel had given him.
"You are nuts if you think we are going near Haunted Glen on the first night of summer, or any other night! You know it is haunted by the ghost of angry leprechauns! And you know they come out at night looking for the gold they lost the day the rainbow broke!" Jay Grey Squirrel exclaimed as she stood to leave the meeting.
