Ex-con Justin Williams discovers there are more temptations and sinful exploits within the Theological Seminary and Christian Community Temple than he had ever speculated possible; and scandals; and coverups. Justin believed that the ministry was supposed to correct wrong doing, not contribute to it. He had thought his fellow ministers should live up to a perfect Code of Life and was disappointed to discover that other ministers had weaknesses just like anyone else. He realized that religion doesn't free people from facing social problems and worldly temptations.

When the police protect their own it is called the Blue Wall, but what do you call it when ministers try to cover up their own scandals? He couldn't help but wonder who was supposed to counsel the counselors? There was the Ministers Code to contend with. So he worried about how to maintain his faith and keep from becoming a part of the problem by surrending to the temptations that plagued him. Was it God or the Devil testing him?

Lorraine M. Harris is an interesting writer. Her style and voice are very fresh. She has a way of presenting her characters in such a way they seem very real and down to earth. Who knew that the ministry could be so sinful? This writer will make you wonder what's really happening behind your minster's closed doors?
