Why did it take a FOOL, to begin this dialog?
Why am I writing, THE COSBY REVOLT, is because he has over stepped his bounds.
Yes, he is totally out of line, and I will prove it to you!
To start off my little poking at Mr. Cosby, I must say that I admire him for the exalted position he has attained in this society. I applaud his commitment to help others receive the education that will help them be able to content for career and comfort. It has been an honorable thing he has done in aiding the effort.
#1 THE FOOL I AM
I LIKE MR. COSBY, AM NOT YOUR AVERAGE EVERYDAY RAISIN IN THE SUN!
No, I am a very special person, so is Mr. Cosby. We share a few growth sources, things that helped both of us to get over many of the hurdles he has complained, that other are tripping over.
#2 THE FOOL HE IS
FROM MR. COSBY’S ONLINE BIO:
African-American entertainer Bill Cosby, in his own words, "started out as a child," the son of an $8 a day maid and an absentee father. Mr. Cosby escaped his rundown Philadelphia neighborhood by dropping out of high school and joining the navy. He earned his diploma via correspondence course, then earned a football scholarship to Temple University. Working nights as a bartender, Cosby discovered he had the ability to make people laugh, so he temporarily shelved his plans to become an athletics teacher and set out to become a nightclub comedian. Most black comics of the era used the race issue in their act; this didn't quite work for Cosby, but relating humorous reminiscences about himself and his childhood buddies worked beautifully...
#3 YES A FOOL NOT A THINKER
IN THAT SHORT REFLECTION OF MR. COSBY’S LIFE,
If he is really man enough, he would apologize to those he has chastised for many of their shortcomings.
I will refer back to a couple of points from the partial Bio of Mr. Cosby later in the text.
#4 THE PAIN OF A FOOL
I BEING A POET WILL POINT OUT THE PAIN OF A QUOTE, OF MR. COSBY:
Poets have said that the reason to have children is to give yourself immortality. Immortality? Now that I have five children, my only hope is that they are all out of the house before I die.
#5 ALL FOOLS HAVE COSTUMES
ALSO THE GREAT REALITY OF A QUOTE:
Nothing separates the generations more than music. By the time a child is eight or nine, he has developed a passion for his own music that is even stronger than his passions for procrastination and weird clothes.
#6 EVEN A FOOL WILL CRY
OF GREAT CONCERN TO ME:
When I first heard Mr. Cosby’s concerns about the young people, and the direction they had taken, I was anxiously waiting to hear him reveal what directed their path, but I have not heard him voice it yet. I am very concerned about that, why he hasn’t remarked of how, followers are led.
