Prologue
The day I was asked to co lead the orchestra alongside my very close friend and musical partner Frederic Bara, the leader during our tour of Argentina, I gracefully accepted. I had never been to Argentina, and the weeks and months of preparation certainly paid off as we grew closer to our departure date.
Prior to the tour, I had to sing Soprano solo in seven concerts, and give a recital during the Nocturnes d’Opale festival alongside Marc Schneider and Julie Morgane, accompanied by Isabelle Fliegler. The hardest part of this recital was to learn all the arias and duets off by heart in less than one month. But we all did it and gave a very good concert.
The days soon drew closer and our flight too. The adventure was about to begin over in another continent, where there will be highs and lows as always in what had become a life changing experience upon the return to France for some of us anyway.
