As many have asked,
As much time has passed,
The ticks of the clock more obvious,
Life becoming more trying,
I wait for you,
My dear Sarah,
Outstretched is my hand
On this journey of life.
The day the clock sounds
With a deafening boom
You will be here you say.
As always I have trusted you,
As always I sit watching the clock,
The ticks of twelve passing,
I wait for the sound of your voice.
