I really like how this book addresses anxiety by turning it into something everyone can relate to: trolls. Anything loud, overwhelming, lost items, messy, etc. is just a troll that can be dealt with. The rules, while applying to these trolls, also apply to situations that induce anxiety or panic.
The only problem is in the early section, it mentions 2 ways of dealing with trolls physically by throwing erasers or shouting. If a child mistakes this as a way to deal with their own anxiety inducing trolls (by trolls I mean other children) they might wind up with an eraser war or a shouting match, causing more of an issue.
However, if that misunderstanding is avoided, especially since this is meant to be read in a group setting, I feel like the method of setting up a safe zone, be it a literal box, or a metaphorical one, is a good way to help children who become overwhelmed to be able to get away, breathe, count, hold something calming/grounding, and reset. This will also give teachers time to address the troll and help ensure the child has a calmer environment in which to return.
I think its' a cute and funny way of approaching anxiety and I'd definitely recommend it.

The No Trolls Allowed Guidebook is a cute children’s book by Kerry Orchard. I like how it gives the lesson for the sensitive kids how to stay calm and deal with the “trolls”. What a wonderful way to give this lesson and I think the author did it in such a way, young ones can relate to.
I highly recommend The No Trolls Allowed Guidebook to all. I give it 5 plus stars.
