In Forbidden Victoria Taylor Murray gives us another romantic suspense novel, in this sequel to Thief of Hearts. Her characters become even more deeply involved in nail-biting and unexpected plot developments that hold the reader captive and reluctant to put the book down, as he continues turning pages into the wee hours of the night. There are unsolved murders, characters under suspicion, explosive and erotic sex scenes as frustrated lovers vent their emotions, and try to cope with events that frighten, disgust, excite, and even confuse the reader, while he wonders what will happen next in this web of suspense and mystery.
At the conclusion of Forbidden, the reader wonders who will win Nouri's heart? Will the murderer(s) be brought to justice? Can their sordid activities be stopped? And why did Forbidden after almost 500 attention-grabbing pages have to come to an end? We can only hope Book 3 of the Lambert Series will soon be available to whet our impatient appetites for more mystery, romance and intrigue. |

This second book seems to have picked up where the first left off, fast paced, full of intrigue and mystery. A must read as far as I can tell. You've woven characters, mystery and desire throughout the scenes, and one can't help to be draw into the middle of it all.
