LIGHT!
Let It Go Here Too!
Sometimes I practice this incredible acronyming to myself quite a few times a day. Like all acronyming practice, it really works. What does it really work to do? To have me see that whatever I’m worrying over, it is never that big a deal. Think about this: when you are in the midst of a real situation and in the flow of handling it, do you worry? No. Firemen don’t worry about fires when they’re putting them out. There are too many other real things to do. Their fretful minds are gone then. In the actual midst of handling your problems, you don’t have time to worry either, because you’re too busy doing what needs to be done. We only worry in advance of the future or over the past. That’s all! Worry never serves the now. Never. The irony is, that our worry supports us in creating what we don’t want. Two identical people in skills and appearance could apply for the same job yet the one who gets the job is the one who knows they are right for it. Confidence is the opposite of worry. The incredible irony is that you can always have confidence, because things will work out the way they do work out every time. Can’t arrive at any more certainty than that! When you get LIGHT! and Let It Go Here Too! most situations will often work out better than your worries. I would say always better, but always does not exist here because we are so powerful, and so creative, that nothing is always one way for us humans. Nothing that is, except Source love. Let It Go Here Too! LIGHT!
One clear example of a place where I need to frequently Let It Go Here Too! and let in the LIGHT! is in child rearing. When I am with my kids and they want to do something I don’t want to do, I feel my resistance to their request coming up. It’s a stiffness in my limbs, my mind freezes, and I can feel that yell coming on. I just know that an argument or a battle will ensue, and even if I get what I want, it won’t matter to me. They will still be upset and now I will be upset too. That’s when I really need to Let It Go Here Too! and let in a little LIGHT! I breathe in deeply and practice this acronyming over and over until my vision opens up to the place where it includes what they want as well as what I want. The yelling ceases to be an option, and eventually we all get our needs met. Is this easy? Not in the middle of that upset, certainly, but ask another more important question: “Is this letting go here, necessary?” Yes, for me it absolutely is. I like feeling good. And I love my relationship with my children. I also like letting in the LIGHT! Let It Go Here Too!
The example given is one that works for parents, but the same exact process is no different from dealing with a boss, a lover, a friend, or a pet. Breathe in deeply, and let in the LIGHT! Let It Go Here Too! Then watch the brilliance show up. Your brilliance! That’s when you are truly lightened up! When you Let It Go Here Too! LIGHT! on!
