This piece of written work stems from stories I heard from my grand relations, both in Whitefish Falls and the Place of the Big Drums, South Bay, Manitoulin Island. It is meant to make one remember a little of their past. It is meant to bring out a small piece of the heart and how that piece relates to the First Nations People. It is to remember the atrocities that were instilled upon my relations who helped the Crown and the Great White Mothers children.
This book, as short as it is will make you think of things you may have forgotten. It does not go into detail, that is for another publication. It does go deep, it makes you think of perhaps your own memory to your own history. Should you be one who carries a flare for hidden messages than this is for you and those like you.
