The most interesting feature of the new edition is a new cover design by the well known artist Riva Switrocket .
She offers the following explanation regarding her design for the book cover :
The title is Return to the Eternal. It is about women finding themselves and their strength in the things that fuel the soul and that don't pass away. So much of material culture today can leave one feeling empty. My drawing reflects the return we must all make toward the things that sustain us. Poetry, art, nature, spirituality, and all the other things we know we can always count on for solace and rejuvenation. These are the things that we must come back to.
This is my personal inspirational book of poetry. It contains many poems written for family, friends, and relevant life situations. Hopefully you will find some that will encourage and inpsire you in whatever arena you are found in your circle of l
This book represents a thirty-day period of my poetry journal. Each poem addresses
the dominant thoughts occupying my mind during the early morning hours of a given
day.
