God named the holidays: Sabbath, Passover, Day of Atonement.
The holy day The Day of atonement is
Yom Kippur. A ram's horn is blown during the Feast of Trumpets service to announce the coming holy day, Yom Kippur.
It is also regarded by both Jews and
Christians as a memorial of the creation
of the world.
Sara's Angel:
Tobias asked for Sara's hand in marriage. They eventually married with the blessing of both of their parents.
They kept praising and thanking God and singing his praises
which had been done when the angel of God appeared to them.
The lesson here is despite the hardship, the illness and poverty which this family endured they were united in their prayers for purity of heart.
In reward for their faith and their heartfelt prayers with tears and songs of praise, God sent them an Angel to help them along the way.
