Yes they would probably find my burnt and rotting corpse amongst the ruins, after my cargo of nuclear materials exploded into a massive ball of radioactive flames, causing carnage and chaos amongst the populace. It was my true destiny!
This is how I really want to go out. Big, dammit!! Hell yes!! Maybe it will even make the 10 o'clock news, captured live by some lucky videographer perched on a faraway hill, who just happened to be filming the yearly migration of a flock of mourning doves, when suddenly appeared a large, looming, mushroom cloud of epic proportion.
What could be worse than that? Well, actually if I survived it all and just slid down the hill a little, and merely ran over and crushed a few panicky tourists in their Subaru's and minivans, I have this dismal picture of me in handcuffs, being escorted off to prison, after carelessly losing control of my train of death.
“Yeah, they'll never let you out after what you have done. You scum murderer, you'll pay for this,” said the officer in charge. “I am innocent of these crimes. I plead for mercy,” said the poor unassuming driver of the giant truck train, who was now on his way to a life of maximum security incarceration.
With either outcome, my life has been ruined by the evil train of doom. It appears imminent. There is no way out of this mess.
All these happy little thoughts run rampant through your brain, as you try and cope with the reality that, instead of this you could be sitting on a couch, sucking down an adult beverage, relaxing, and tuning into reruns of “Cash Cab.”
How could this possibly happen to me? What was I thinking to actually go out and get involved with this nonsense? You inconsequential fool! What have you done now? This can only end in disaster.
