This collection of short stories and essays is a peek inside my heart and explores issues of faith, forgiveness, the role of the Divine, and the possibility of an existence beyond this physical life.
"In Christmas Angels Don’t Always Have Wings", a loving father and husband deals with his guilt over the circumstance surrounding his father’s death and his resulting loss of faith in a loving God. Can a Christmas Angel restore what life so cruelly took away and heal his wounded heart?
"A Crown of Thorns", tells the tale of one of Christ’s devoted disciples and the price he pays for following in the footsteps of his friend and teacher.
"Who is My Brother", is the story of a vengeful man who must face the eternal consequences of his actions in life. If offered the chance to redeem his soul, will he take it or turn away?
"Essays from the Heart", is a selection of essays I have composed over the years. They represent a written version of my inner dialogues on subjects as diverse as what it means to have a ‘Good Life’ to what is the nature of God?
My essays honestly and openly share my personal beliefs and I sincerely hope that they do not offend any of my readers should they conflict with your own set of beliefs.
My intent in including them is simply to share my thoughts and give the reader something to chew on for a bit.
The words upon these pages truly come from a place deep within my being. I hope you too, will read them with an open mind and heart.
