This poem was written at the time my first child was born. I put it to a simple melody and sang it every night to each of my children. Hopefully, they will one day sing it to their children as well.
Nathan's Lullaby
Go to sleep my baby Go to sleep, don't cry Go to sleep my baby It's time to close your eyes
Go to sleep my baby Rest your weary head Daddy's here to lay you down Softly in your bed
Go to sleep my baby The day is nearly through Go to sleep my baby Knowing I love you
Go to sleep my baby The stars are shining bright And should you wake up in the night Daddy's here to hold you tight
