Local author publishes her Sixth Children's Book
Jane Buttery has just brought out a book about safety in the home through a story about Explorer Sam, a toddler of about 2 1/2-3years old. Through a bouncy rhyming text, she tells how Sam is protected by his mother from doing himself damage. The story was written to be told aloud and allow children to join in to answer,"What did his mother say?" I found it fun to read to my youngster.
