Alas The Evil War
(the poem that started it all)
The land was full of bones and blood,
All scattered all about the mud,
Gunshots pierced the poisoned air,
And give the old folk such a scare,
The wounded soldiers
sleeping sound,
In their bunkers underground,
Dyeing bodies flowing constantly in,
With broken bones and bloodied skin,
Some on stretchers, some in slings,
Alas the evil that war brings.
The Rose In The Stone
The valley of love holds a true secret gift,
A magnificent rose with petals so swift,
Embed in a stone is this rose cast with love,
One touch of this rose and your dreams will come true,
For the person you love will also love you,
The true love this rose offers, like no other known,
Is the love from the lord that has always been shown.
Baby On The Wall
How am I to wonder,
The picture that I see,
The picture of my baby,
My baby and me,
Standing in its silver frame,
Upon the marble stall,
The Picture of my baby,
Hung neatly from the wall,
The picture of my baby,
The one she sent to me,
To remind me of the beauty,
My baby and me,
How am I to wonder,
With my baby far away,
But she's coming home,
Back to me today,
She's coming back to greet me,
She's on her way to meet me,
The beauty of my baby,
My baby and me.
The End Is Nigh
We're in a world of destruction
With deathly production
A world sent to death with the bomb
A grim declamation
For the killing infestation
A world set to death all so wrong
So high desperation
Of our lonely plantation
The culling. The murder. The pain
Fighting perforation
A deadly interpretation
Of the torture and chaos from our brain
No more acclamation
For the fighting accumulation
A world far from the mend
No time for curing station
Of this haunted deadly nation
So far away the is natures hand to lend
No turning back the clock of perturbation
Of the righting of the wrongly spent vocation
Just the waiting of the final time to end
The time our world is over its violation
And the time arrives for death's vocation
The world will cease through human touch of tend.
Echo In The Trees
There's an echo in the breeze,
And its bouncing off the tree's,
Tapping on my window pane,
Dodging through the rain,
Its an echo in the mountains,
The city streets and fountains,
Travelling for miles,
Bring everyone their smiles,
Its an echo of the rainbow,
Everywhere it does go,
An echo true in every part,
An echo of the heart.
