The work combines religion and science
in an attempt to persuade humans to change the way that they treat the Earth before the planet is destroyed by excessive green house gases.
The story begins with a thirteen-year-old boy Sayan and his family taking a vacation. Because his father works for the railroads, he is able to secure free passage for his entire family.
During the trip, another passenger, Sadhika, who persuades the family to join at her ashram, intrigues Sayan. Initially they are reluctant because of the father's absence, but in the end they accept her offer.
It is at this remote place where the family is faced with the error of their ways. Through advanced technology they learn that the Earth is on the verge of extinction...
