Journey to Enlightenment’ is written surrounding observations and experiences both of the author and other individuals. In this book there are thoughts of encouragement to people who may have lost the drive and the zeal to face some of life’s most challenging situations. This is what this book is all about, to encourage the human spirit.
It aims to show individuals that life is made up of many choices and each individual should know what is desired in life and make the right choice. The right choice eventually makes you and your spirit feel comfortable when you have made it. This book was written as if it was directed by an invisible force, as seen in the last piece ‘Revelation’.
I surprised even myself by writing this book. I was unaware that I had the talent for this. It covers a wide cross section of society in topics such as politics as in ‘No Easy Choice,’ Love as in ‘Love Funny Ways’ Inequality, as in; ‘Release the Shackles of inequality’, the state of the soul, as in ‘The Better Part’. This anthology would not be complete without the inclusion of nature as in the pieces ‘Rain Dance’ and ‘Debil an Him Wife’ and ‘Farewell’.
‘Journey To Enlightenment’ is written based on a sociological background of observations and opinions It is hoped that persons who read these poems find some words that encourage and give them enthusiasm and strength to buoy the spirit along life’s journey.
