Not only in the tasting of the new wine is the soul satiated but, as you learn to swim in the deep rivers of life does the winepress pour out to you immeasureably. Come and see.
Many times I have felt alone but, found comfort and a firm foundation in friends and family. However, I know that this isn't the case with all my readers. My father use to say, "a soul is a soul ultimately standing alone before God the Father." My mother use to tell me that it isn't what happens to us that matters but it's our attitude that God sees. I myself have drunk of the wells of Salvation deeply. Out of my belly flow rivers of living water in the pages of my poetry. May my readers know that life is not a perpetual crushing of the soul. May they overcome even in weakness as they rely on Jesus, the firm foundation. You'll find a sweet aroma to Him. He opened a window and gave me a peek of treasures written in He and me.

To My Lord
"So beautiful to me your graying hair
you cared through years when none else did
Crushed of body mind and soul
I died inside a thousand times
to awaken to heavens arms divine
O the delight of dawn increased my joy as deep as ocean depths
Sorrow washed upon the shore,
A broken empty shell no more
Now healed I revere
I serve,
A glimpse of light
the world,
A curve
His smile, His grace
The sunny sky,
Intertwine in heaven's place."

A Toast From My Cup To Thine
Lorilei's book was a wonderful suprise. It has been a long time since a book has moved me the way this one did. At times I was brought to the point of tears and other times to laughter. The unique or I might say "gifted" way she expresses herself was as delight. Lorilei's poems tell a story or triumph over trials and are a needed reminder to all of us that God loves and His grace is sufficient. I highly recommend this book to all. If you read this book you will be blessed.
