Granted, he faces each challenge with the understanding that perhaps he 'can't' do 'that,' but he has conviction to keep trying (and maybe some day he 'can'). What Can I Do? A Donkey-Donk Story is a charming narrative about the adventures of a miniature donkey moving to a new home. This easy-to-read account was paired with beautiful photographs and turned out to be a joyous addition to our homeschool library...this book is a fun look at a day in the life of a miniature donkey trying new things. Our children and preschool book club attendees definitely enjoyed the story and the lesson that each horse s talent is important on the farm. This beautifully illustrated and simply worded book is intended for small children but its message of perseverance is a story for all ages.
Watching Donkey-Donk try to figure out what he can do is similar to children. Parents are constantly telling their children to try new things because one of them is going to 'click'. And if a child does not give the options an honest test--they may have overlooked something they would thoroughly enjoy.
As illustrated in this publication, sometimes the simplest gift is the one you will find a passion for and those around you will appreciate your recognizing it.
A wonderful addition to anyone's home library--especially if children are a part of your life.
