This story is about a very special friendship between a thirteen-year-old boy named Jimmie and an elderly man named Samuel Pulaski. Samuel shares stories about his life with all who are willing to listen, but mostly with his young friend, Jimmie, in exchange for the young boy’s companionship. He shares his trials and tribulations and the effects they have had on his beliefs, faith, and trust in the Lord. However, Samuel is unaware of the impact he has had on Jimmie’s life as he grew up. This would be recorded by Jimmie many years later.

Fantastic Family Book
A wonderful story, I felt like I lived in this small town and knew each of the characters. The introductions to each section make you feel like the writer is sitting right there with you having a cup of tea, coffee or coco with you.
