"No matter how many of Purington’s books I read I am always amazed how well she writes and how the stories flow. The characters are like old friends, made so from the first book in the series. I always feel like I am in the midst of the action and caught up in all the emotions of the characters. And this last book in the whole Viking/ MacLomain group of series has everything I have come to expect and love. IT is both exciting and very sad to read the last of such epic books. My heart will miss these characters.
