The idea for this book came from bad times in my life and tough situations. I was living in a one room apartment and working at a job that was seasonal. I was a struggling young man and my situation had to change. I had to encourage my self in the Lord so in the year 2002 I started to pass on a positive word everyday of the week to my friends and family. I started passing the word for the day by phone first and now at this time I only pass it on by email. I decided to get the book published earlier this year. The book can be purchased at amazom.com or authorhouse.com or you can order the book from your local book store. The Word for The Day Book Two will be published next year. I believe that this book will be a benefit to your church bookstore or organization because everyone needs a word of encouragement to inspire them to not give up and settle for less but more and to dream. With God all things are possible if you just believe. My goal for this book is to lead people to God and to advance God’s Kingdom. Please help me advance God’s Kingdom and spread the Gospel. Who are you putting your trust in? Is it man, is it yourself or is it God?
Jeremiah 17:5-8 - This is what the Lord says: "Cursed is the one who trusts in man, who depends on flesh for his strength and whose heart turns away from the Lord. He will be like a bush in the wastelands; he will not see prosperity when it comes. He will dwell in the parched places of the desert, in a salt land where no one lives. "But blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in him. He will be like a tree planted by the water that sends out its roots by the stream. It does not fear when heat comes; its leaves are always green. It has no worries in a year of drought and never fails to bear fruit." (NIV)

A man's and woman's character will determine how far God can take you.

James 4:3- When you ask, you do not receive, because you ask with wrong motives, that you may spend what you get on your pleasures. (NIV)
Philippians 2:19-22 - I hope in the Lord Jesus to send Timothy to you soon, that I also may be cheered when I receive news about you. I have no one else like him, who takes genuine interests in your welfare. For everyone looks out for his own interests, not those of Jesus Christ. But you know that Timothy has proved himself, (NIV)
Punch Line: Moral issues starts off in your heart. Character is what you are in the dark! What do you do and how are you when know one is around you?

The Word For The Day Is - Faith
Have you ever asked God to increase your faith?
Luke 17:5-6 - The apostles said to the Lord, "Increase our faith (that trust and confidence that spring from our belief in God). And the Lord answered, If you had faith (trust and confidence in God) even [so small] like a grain of mustard seed, you could say to this mulberry tree, Be pulled up by the roots, and be planted in the sea, and it would obey you. Hebrews 11:6 - But without faith it is impossible to please and be satisfactory to Him. For whoever would come near to God must [necessarily] believe that God exists and that he is the rewarder of those who earnestly and diligently seek Him [out].

The Word For The Day Is - Goal
A goal is the ongoing pursuit of a worthy objective until accomplished.
Philippians 3: 13,14 - Brothers, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus. (NIV)
Nehemiah - 2:11, 12,17,18 - I went to Jerusalem, and after staying there for three days I set out during the night with a few men. I had not told anyone what my God had put in my heart to do for Jerusalem. There were no mounts with me except the one I was riding on. Then I said to them, "You see the trouble we are in: Jerusalem lies in ruins, and its gates have been burned with fire. Come, let us rebuild the wall of Jerusalem, and we will no longer be in disgrace." I also told them about the gracious hand of my God upon me and what the king had said to me. They replied, "Let us start rebuilding." So they began this good work. (NIV)
Punch Line: Paul's goal was to win the prize for which God has called him. Nehemiah's goal was to rebuild the wall of Jerusalem. What is it that you are pursuing and you will not rest until it is accomplished?
The Word for the day is for Monday through Friday. Saturday reflect, Sunday go to church.

Timothy Bullard loves helping people. My goal is to receive a degree in behavior health human services. I plan to council those people who are in need and help them with their problems.
