It is a time in the future when the entire world is depended upon the computer when an unknown virus wipes out all of the computers on earth and collapses entire governments and the only one who can save them all is a sixteen year old African-American young man, but will he be too late?
This is a tale set in the future when every segment of society depends solely on the computer for its survival. All transportation, communications, schools and even food supplies are handled by computers. Then one day every computer that uses the internet service is suddenly shut down thereby over a period of one month the entire United States comes to a grinding halt. But during that time no one in the country has a clue of what is causing the shut down and even the greatest brains can not find the cause until they contact a young African-American teenager from Kansas who is known as a computer whiz to tackle the problem and save America from being taken over by a foreign power.
The Age of the Computer is what can happen if we depend too much on machines, but as Wakeen Nelson the hero of the story puts it; "Don't depend upon a machine to do the thinking, let the machine depend upon you to do the thinking."
