Who I Am Today
Oceans of misery come rushing in,
It looks as if my despair had no end.
Then out of the blue, you take my hand,
And help my heart beat just once again.
Everything I was, is a time of the past,
For you helped rescue my soul, finally
at last. When I look towards my future,
it is you that I see, All my heartaches and
tears are now set at ease.
Memories that were once nothing but sad,
You replaced with happiness, I needed so
bad. Feeling your love overflow my entire
existence, I know you will keep it there,
with no resistance.
I was vanished in a place that was so full of
hate, how you saved me once more, for you
are my fate. I’ll always be indebted for you
turning my way, and hope that you know;
I am yours forever each day.
I did not know who I was on this earth that
I lived in; you opened my eyes and gave
me a life worth living. In all of my heart
you will always be the same, and know
I’ll always love you, for helping me find,
who I am today.
