A collection of stories that visits the wee ones through people and places .
The stories about the wee ones have been told by many generations . The presence of little people or fairies have been documented since there was a scroll to wrote down . Stories handed down from generation to generation have been another way that the world has heard the mysterious wonders that have been going on since the beginning of time . In this book I am passing on some tales that I hope you will enjoy and if you should ever catch a wee one remember that you can ask for three wishes in return for setting him free . But be aware they are crafty and know every trick in the book so make sure that you take your time in making your wishes . They can wait a while to be set free .
Excerpt
The first of the wee ones came over with a lighted candle and spoke softly with a voice that almost put Natty into a trance .
“Hello child I am the wee one of fire and I am here to show you a way through the darkness of the underground caves to the time tunnels and the domain of the wee ones here on the earth .”
Natty was transported into a cave where the wee one carried a torch that burned with a flame .
“Where are we ?” Natty asked and the wee one replied ,
“Within the cave of time . Look over there and see the hermit who had lived in this dark cave for a long time . He was hiding from the world and before him there were many other cavemen and cavewomen who lived here in this cave . All of these cave dwellers had knowledge about the wee ones . We made ourselves known to all of them and we explained to them how they were part of a plan . Before they left the cave they painted pictures on the roof of the cave for future generations to see as proof of their existence here . “
The wee one touched a panel and a door opened in the wall of the cave where multicoloured lights penetrated the interior of the dark cave , “
‘What is that place” Natty asked ,
‘That is our domain. In the time tunnels between your world and our world . From the other side of the cave we have watched how men and women have evolved here on earth . From the ice age to the new age , we have been here in between both worlds . So near but out of sight . We are the wee ones , come now with me and I’ll show you things you’ve never seen before . Lets go “
The wee one Natty on a tour through the times tunnels where he saw that past and the future with all kinds of sights and wonders . When the tour was over back in his room where another wee one was waiting .

The second wee one approached Natty and anointed his feet with tranquil oils from underwater plants and sprinkled droplets of water from a wishing well over his head and said ,
“ Hello earth child , I am the wee one of water and you have been selected for a reason unknown to see things not many have seen before. I am here to bring you to a place beneath the ocean where the wee ones live in a magical land never before seen by any human “
Once again Natty was transported inside a submarine with windows all around where he could see sights and wonders , of an inner world where strange sea creatures swam around sunken ships with lots of treasure chests . There were mermaids who waved and octopuses who gave a wiggle as they passed by . There was huge starfish that spun around and sea horses who run around the clams that shut and crabs that cut seaweed from the rocks . Flocks of jellyfish jiggled and then there was a bright light that shone from an entrance to and an inner world within a coral cavern on the ocean floor .
The wee one of the water said ,
“Lets go now and see the place where we have been since the beginning of time /“
As the submarine made it way into this strange water world there was a vault like a hidden chamber where the submarine docked against a pier . The wee one opened up the hatch of the submarine and took Natty on a tour of water world .
“The music you hear are the echoes of all songs of life that have been played secretly by unknown composers since the beginning of time . Their music has been unheard by human ears but here in our world we have captured every note of their melodies that are played for all of us to hear. The music was enchanting and beautiful . There were trees with fruit that have never been seen on earth, there were other wee ones walking around who spoke to Natty telepathically with a language he understood . They told him stories about life and placed images into his mind as if he was watching a moving picture of time passing by and suddenly they ere gone leaving him back in his room where a third wee one approached . The third wee one opened the lid of a bottle that released a gust of wind that brought with it a beautiful aroma that wafted all around the room and then she said ,
“I am the wee one of the air and I would like to take you on a flight tonight to see some sights and wonders you have never seen before .”
Natty was transported into the sky on the wings of a magical flying swanship . Far below the lights of the town glittered like shinning gems ,As the wee one took him away on a journey
Airy the wee one of the air said ,
“Here we are Natty up in the air where things look a lot different that what you’ve as seen before . “
A gate in the appeared and as the swanship approached the gate opened up to an alternate world occupying the same space as but hidden from the eyes of people on earth .They were no longer flying through the sky instead they were on a ocean and the swanship was sailing towards an island .
“Where is this place ? Natty asked
It’s a forever place known as Vanisha and we are heading now to the shore of the Island of Dreams where no human had ever been before . Just before they reached the shore a breeze rushed in from the island and lifted the swanship back into the air. They were heading towards a mountain on the other side of the island and the wee one said ,
“Over there is Popple Mountain and at the top of the mountain is the castle of dreams were the wee ones live , The castle was built in the sky at the beginning of time and was brought here by the keeper of Firey lake who in return for his favour became King of Vanisha . The original King and Queen of Vanisha were transformed into swans who flew away to a new kingdom / The keeper of the lake made a promise that could return again to the castle of anytime they wanted but until now they have not returned . to the Castle Of Dreams and we so all still await their return . I brought you here because today something special is going to happen . “
As they flew towards Popple mountain they heard the sound of a trumpet blast out a welcome fanfare that was carried through the air in echoes Suddenly from the sky two swans came flying down toward the castle of dreams which could mean only one thing . The King and Queen were returning back .The closer the swanship got to the Castle , all the more could be seen . An excited crowd of wee ones were jumping and screaming all around the castle walls as the sun begam to shine and dance in the sky .
In the air the two swans were coming wearing gold crowns on their heads . The trumpets continued to play and the swanship landed down inside the castle at the same time as the two swans landed . The moment the swans touched the ground they were transformed again into the King and Queen of the Kingdom of Vanisha.
All the wee ones were sop happy to see their King and Queen again and the keeper of the lake handed back the key to the Kingdom and in doing so he was transformed back into a swan that flew away into the sky to another Kingdome somewhere beyond . The wee ones all danced and sang and in the sky a display of fireworks began .
“ I am so happy to see you have returned to your Kingdom .“
The King and Queen stood at top of the castle of dreams and waved to all the wee ones who had gathered below . Then he made a special mention to Natty ,
:“Welcome to our Kingdom earth child now that you have been here you might see things that many have never seen before .“
In the courtyard of the castle was a pathway around a gentle pond bordered by a small circular retaining wall . In the middle of the pond water cascaded from a
three tiered fountain . Around the wall were beautiful flowers in garden beds and as the water cascaded down from the fountains into the small tiers small fish leapt out into the big pond and swam around in the crystal clear water . There was a sense of wonder and a presence of tranquillity descended all around the castle grounds .
The King and Queen were happy and danced for everyone who had gathered .
