The crew members from the Sage are back in Panama. Their quest - the Spanish treasure in the hull of The Sage at the bottom of Gatun Lake. Eric Riga, one of the original crew, presumed drowned when the Sage sank, survived and now seeks revenge on the crew. He plans to steal the treasure, but Panama's Defense Force and the forces of nature conspire to bring about the demise of the treasure quest in Rio Belen, the same river where Columbus lost one of his ships.
