A book should represent the times like To Kill a Mockingbird and so on, Gone with the Wind,etc etc. ...............So here is my representation of my times .
I looked out my bedroom wndow and yawned, someone had scream ,I saw down the street oil cans were burning again, firs started inside each of them I
hated this the third night of the riots but most of us had no choice we lived here this was our homes. As bad as it smelled lawns were unkept and most neighbors were the same , bums or homeless people.I was then twenty three and couldn't find work,no one did it was tough and believe me,times were tough but we continued we had too , no one else would that's for sure .But it were children or babies that and the roughness times,mothers couldn't find milk to feed their babies and so on.
I hated those that started these riots,it wasn't necessary,all you had to do was open your mouth and talk you did that any other time too.to be continued.
