The book works quite well for interactive family or classroom activities when used as a source of a game. It works well as a vacation book to be taken on road trips or airplane trips. Great for Upper Elementary, Middle, and High School Kids!
I bought the first book in this series - TURBOCHARGE YOUR BRAIN TurboCharge Your Brain - for my son - and he loved it, so I decided to buy the second book for him. He loves this one two. Since this is a continuation of the first book and they're both so much fun for kids, I'll copy what I wrote for the first book:

"I bought this book on a hunch. I am familiar with the author's adult work, and her other books are so creative that I thought I'd give her kid quiz book a chance. I am NOT disappointed.

TurboCharge Your Brain contains dozens of upbeat and challenging quizzes for kids on a large variety of topics. Some are word games. Others require a little Internet research. The thing they all have in common is that they're fun. The questions range from easy to challenging - but the answer key at the back of the book gives the reader a chance to learn something new. In this case, I don't think cheating is cheating since it's a win-win for the person reading the book.

The book also inserts related trivia between quizzes. These are charming and thematic. In fact, my son so loves the trivia that he's been trying to test me to see if I know these little known treasures.

I'm so glad I bought this book. I just ordered the second book in the series - SuperTurboCharge Your Brain."

Both books are great values.

I recommend the print versions to the Kindle versions because the book has questions to answer. Think of it as a funny and entertaining workbook for smart kids who like to learn cool things.
