Break the Chain is a lovely collection of distinct and uniquely written poems. The many messages of life, love, loss, laughter and sorrow flow from its pages
I found many creative words to invoke an array of emotions from sadness, to happiness and even some that caused a slight chuckle. It is difficult for me to pick a favorite from this delicious buffet of poems but I particularly liked the straight forward words of Kill the Pain and Escape. I enjoyed the descriptions and details that were include in every passage.
I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys the delightful feeling of savoring the rich words of a captivating poem.
It is very apparent that Renee Bagley is an excellent writer and that she plucked the sweet and truthful words from her own flowing imagination and experiences. She has shared herself and given us all a rare look into the heart of a poet. Thank you Renee, for sharing your life with all of us and for making ours a little fuller.
