A boy befriends a video game character who comes to life.
Lucas Lemon only wants one thing for his birthday: a video game--any video game. But his overprotective parents buy him stuffed animals instead. When a video game system falls off a mysterious truck, Lucas smuggles it home and secretly stays up all night playing "Blinky's Island," in which a jungle warrior battles an evil dragon and saves a beautiful princess. But Lucas is in for a surprise when he wakes up the next morning and finds Blinky standing in his living room! Lucas, who has never even crossed the street by himself, agrees to aid Blinky on his quest to find the princess and save her from the dragon.
