I was face down on the floor
maple colors surround, kissing the knots in my throated cries a shimmer and a shine, I be came pretty unwound with each mossy cap I found, fingering the tops, smashing teeth, gagging them down..
And then I became kinda wild
watched myself why o why never to be a truck driver am I runnin scared into the refrigerator I stared, like a long endless highway, scared to death of the loneliness, and the many miles like a contorted frequency not my hand of destiny with control in one hand and a hole in the other I slip the ball of eight into the slippery palm, in and out, leaving me with little doubt of what has always been and beginning again
