I am afraid to know.
I am shell-shocked
My knees are aching and trembling.
My head and eyes are heavey.
The pounding of my heart is scary.
It is so painful to know.
It is too much for me to know that I have a month to live.
I have a terminal illness.
Hope keeps me going.
I know I will be fine,
With counsellors around me.
I will be fine.

I will die in the comfort of my home and family.

I will have time to prepare my family.
