A loud roar filled the Pitney household, like it does every morning!
"Adam! It’s time to get up for school. I want you to have breakfast before you go, so please hurry down!" yelled Adam’s mother.
"Adam, it’s getting late and I want you to eat. I’m not going to call you again. Next time I’m coming up after you, do you hear me!" she shrieked, after waiting 10 minutes.
"Yes mother I hear you. I bet the whole street can hear you. I’m coming down now anyway. Besides I’m hungry and I don’t want to get on the school bus with my stomach growling. Joey says it sound like a volcano about to erupt," replied Adam, sitting down at the kitchen table to eat.
