He knelt down to her to look closer for markings or anything. He spotted the ligature marks on her neck, and her auburn hair a mess from the struggle. As he looked closer, he noticed it was one of the seniors at South Willapa. It was Natasha Lyons, the volleyball star, whom made all state this year. Gently lifting her hands, he noticed her nails were cut, so the possibility of collecting DNA on the perp was slim, but she fought back. He knew this would be a very high profile case, one he needed to make sure to look into every angle. The thing that upset him the most, was the fact she lived in the trailer court behind the 101 Quick Stop, the local convenience store and gas station. He knew her parents did not have much money and she was an only child, and she was going to college on scholarships, she was a great student, her parents were going to be crushed.
