'If I ever wanted to make peace, the time had come. I methodically proceeded to pack bags of necessities for a few days, unsure of what I would find. My stomach was in knots, my head spinning with so many unanswered questions. I had to see for myself. With a full range of emotions and very little information, I did the only thing I knew to do.
