I Wear The Colour Greenis divided into two parts, making it essentially two books in one. In part one, From The Mind, deals with self reflection and eventual acceptance. This section includes many of the poems he wrote as a young man, while "finding himself." Some Boys Do, the second part of the book, focuses solely on personal relationships. These passages range from tender words of love to poems about sexuality and lust.
