This is novel inspired by true events that takes place in this authors life growing up. Tea is a very lovable gangster that lost both of his parents to the same Indiana streets that he will one day make his playground. Charity, Tea's innocent lover, graduates at the top of her class with a 4.0 in business days before having to face the choice of life, death, or betrayal to survive. The only problems is that it's Tea's life she is making the choice about. A man who she is starting to believe isn't worth losing it all for.
Tea is a young ambitious boy that started his life off with limited options. First he grows to realize that his father will never be a part of his life, and then he finds out that his father didn't even believe that he was his son. That was hard for Tea, but what was even harder than that was when he lost his mother and the only hope he had left of ever understanding what the word word love really meant. Left to be raised by the hard Indiana streets and destined to fail, Tea learned the tricks and the trades of sex, money, murder, and how to survive off of nothing but the very streets that he sleeps on from time to time. Life is short on the streets; Tea's only escape from this nightmare is when he dreams of death. Will Tea come out of the trenches of the hard knock life, or will Tea just become another statistic?
