A Ton of Useful Information
I really liked how much information this book contains. The stuff on all these different martial arts from around the world was pretty interesting, but I really appreciated the stuff on fighting theory and methods to make yourself a better fighter. I already started to use a lot of these tips in my training.
An encyclopedia of hands-on training
This book was even better than I expected. I bought it having read and enjoyed the author's Ultimate Jujutsu, but this book is even better. It examines tons of different martial arts, including ones most people have never heard of, but it is so useful because it contains useful techniques from many martial arts, ways to keep training interesting and fun, and information to make you a better sparrer and a better fighter. And I thought the Martial Arts Student Log Book was useful, this is amazingly so!
