This is a short story surrounding the Toreador, Nosferatu, Gangrel and Setite clans of the Kindred nation.
I hope to develope this story into a series of books that continue from one book to the next.
It has a bit of romance, friendship, conflict of priority, and out and out war in the streets in the end. There are the ancient vampires all the way to the embrace of new member.

It was an age of freedom for the vampire clans. Humans had come to accept them in their society. Some had almost come to worship them. The thirteen clans had lived in peace for almost two hundred years. They had learned to co-exist with humans in a surreal bliss for nearly as long. In this time, the Ventrue clan had ruled in prosperity and fortune. Now, as a new leader was to take the throne, there was unrest amongst the clans.
It was time for the Toreador to carry the sceptor of High Priestess. Being an all female clan, this gave way to the debate as to their ability to continue what Ventrue had created.
Humans were an important part of the vampire world. They scurried around , doing the more mundane chores of the day to day. They were treated with respect and well compensated for their work, and in turn, they watched over their enigmatic employers. Some humans were allowed a very close look at vampire life. This is where our story begins...
