Patricia A. Oplinger's second book on CD, Scattered Rainbows Vol. II of Circle of Life Trilogy debuts June 25, 2011 at WORDS Bookstore on Spring Street in Hardy, AR. It accompanies the coffee table book of the same title in which Pat collaborated with South Carolina visual artist Carol L. Funke.
Greg and Beth Bess, owners of this independent bookstore remain strong supporters of the arts in the foothills region of the state. Greg's monthly column, "Words About Words" appears in Avenues a local magazine.

This CD of Scattered Rainbows Vol. II of the Circle of Life Trilogy made me realize anew that life is an unwritten poem and there are many canvasses to be painted. Hearing Pat speak to "woman" I felt challenged to experience and enjoy the wide variety of moods and experiences expressed by her words and the mental images she creates.
The songs and art in this book are about our collective emergence after the pandemic and trauma of the last few years - comprised of 5 collections: World as Refuge, Where We Live, In Our Hands, Rhythms of Change and What We See & Sow.
