PROLOGUE

It is said that in growing older, you become wiser. Victor Hardin was reminded of this as he stood in the room within arm's reach of  Blue Medic's powerful computer systems. Just a few months before, he was planning a cyber attack on Blue Medic. The rejection letter he received from Blue Medic set him on this path. It denied individual medical insurance coverage for his wife. She was turned down because of her medical history. ---Another way of saying that she was ineligible because she had pre-existing medical conditions. To add insult to injury, the letter suggested that she obtain coverage through a state sponsored group health program which he later discovered was secretly controlled by Blue Medic. The cost of coverage under this type of group health program was double that of a similar plan offered by Blue Medic for those with little or no blemish on their medical history. Both him and his wife were out of work at the time and could not afford to pay the exorbitant price. He became outraged at this price gouging tactic used by the company and he laid out a plan to wreak havoc on their computer systems.

    After searching for over a year without any success, he got  a new job which landed him in the center of Blue Medic's strategic operation.---- nicknamed the server farm. In that room, it crossed his mind that being there could make it very easy for him to execute his plan. 'How ironic this situation is....' He thought. '.... The fox is in the hen house but he no longer has the taste for chicken.'

    Victor Hardin would discover that making the right choice would lift his spirit and reward him beyond his wildest expectations.
