6. You are driving on a snow-covered freeway. Traffic is moving at a snail’s pace. You are late for something (work, school, wife’s having a baby, etc.) so you attempt to go around the person driving five miles in front of you. Your car picks up speed gradually. A huge bend is coming up ahead so you apply the brakes; unfortunately, it’s at this time that you realize your brakes have just given out on you. What do you do? Write a scene describing what happens. Will you get out unscathed? Is there anyone else in the car with you?
