“In reference to the book The Wishing Star, I observed many positive points. I liked how the length of the story was moderate (not too long and is adequate for a young reader). The book displayed expressive language, which helped stimulate the reader’s imagination. I also liked the positive message behind the story (i.e. respecting the environment). It would be a great book to use for Earth Day or recycling and conservation lessons at home or in school. Not to mention, the illustration in this book were eye catching and colorful. Overall it was great and enjoyable to read!”
